Hadley had a four-stroke lead going into the final round of the Palmetto Championship in June 2021. Hadley finished the day with three bogeys, shooting 75 and losing by one shot to Garrick Higgo. Hadley was tied for second place with six other competitors. Hadley wrapped up the season in the FedEx Cup standings with the 125th and final fully exempt spot.
